About Kevin Walsh

Kevin brings his lifetime experiences as a professional educator, videographer, editor, photographer and streaming producer to Hudson Collective. Kevin understands all layers of the creative and messaging process. From the concept and writing of the initial scripts and budgets to the coordination of multi-day shoots, Kevin manages professional production people. He can also produce, shoot and edit the finished product himself.

Kevin’s years of experience offer a unique insight to the special needs only found in schools, community organizations and nonprofits. From community cable production and studio design to serving as location scout, animator and associate producer on major motion pictures Kevin understands the range of client budgets and offers creative solutions to achieve an engaging final product.

After many years of teaching video production at several high schools, Kevin opened his own photography and video business. Now he acts as the Business Manager for our Hudson Media Productions as well as producing, shooting and editing. He still finds time to teach film though – both at Michigan Production Institute and at Lawrence Technological University.

He has done work with The Holocaust Memorial Center, PPG Industries, Forgotten Harvest, Beaumont Hospitals, Plowshares Theatre Company, Michigan Department of Education, Wayne Westland School District, Macomb ISD, Shakespeare Royal Oak Theatre Company, Detroit History Tours, Michigan Ballet Theatre, and West Bloomfield Educational Foundation.
