CVS board approves millage resolution

Michigan currently ranks 50th in the U.S. in education funding increases

At the December 2, 2019  Chippewa Valley Schools Board of Education meeting, a resolution was unanimously approved for a regional enhancement millage.

“The district currently receives the lowest per-pupil foundation allowance in Michigan, “the resolution read. “One-third of students in Michigan receive additional per-pupil funding from an enhancement millage.”
